DVT Overview
DVT redefines the price/performance mark with the Series 500 SmartImage sensor. DVT's Series 500 SmartImage sensor is a stand-alone imaging sensor with on-board image acquisition, processing, digital I/O, and serial and Ethernet communications. All this is contained within a small 112mm x 60mm x 30mm footprint. A PC is used for configuration. After that, the PC may be disconnected. It is not required for online inspection. The camera operates autonomously.
The Series 500 uses DVT's patented image acquisition technology to maintain optimum image stability and repeatability. Camera, image-acquisition electronics, and computer are integrated into a single unit to allow dynamic access to the CCD without image float or flutter. This combined with its high-resolution imaging (up to 1280 x 1024 pixels) capabilities and network communications (Ethernet and fieldbus) make the Series 500 SmartImage Sensor the ideal smart factory tool.
The other component of DVT's power is the easy-to-use intuitive interface software, Intellect. Intellect contains every one of DVT's softsensor tools and it's entirely free.
